The Barn

The Barn is a semi detached building offering fine, contemporary interior design in their own landscaped enclosed garden, surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is a peaceful and relaxing environment to enjoy a well earned rest.

A door from each of the three ensuite bedroom leads out into the garden and the main living room has french doors that open up to the beautiful panoramic views of the local countryside.

Inside is a modern open plan living/dining room with a large kitchen area leading to a boot room / large utility room which is ideal for coats, muddy boots and dogs to dry off. The open plan area leads down a corridor to three large double ensuite bedrooms, all bedrooms have ensuite shower/bath, sink and toilet facilities.

The terrace has a BBQ and garden chairs and table in enjoy in good weather.

Converted in 2014 they have everything you need to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing break from it all.

We allow up to three dogs at a cost of £20 per dog per week.

In the kitchen area there is an under-counter fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A single electric oven and microwave. All kitchen equipment is provided to help make you stay as stress free as possible.

One of the sofas in the living area can be converted into a strung action full size double sofa bed for an additional two guests, a large dining table with eight  chairs is also available.

All three beds can be either large doubles or twin beds and we ask at time of booking if you can confirm how you would like the beds set up for your stay.

All bedding and towels are included for your stay.

We also provide a welcome hamper with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter and eggs from our farm to get you started on your holiday.

Waitrose, Asda’s and Sainsbury’s all provide delivery to the Barn.

A key box is provided with the key and details of the key code are sent to you ahead of your stay with us.

Our Terms:

Arrival Days;

The Barn can be rented with a Friday changeover, for seven nights during peak times, outside peak times a weekend stay Friday – Monday or midweek stay Monday- Friday can be arranged. A Weekend stay is 80% of the week price and midweek stay is 90% of the week price.

Payments

At time of booking 25% non refundable deposit is payable, the balance is due eight weeks prior to arrival. If cancelled within eight weeks of arrival no refund will be made unless we are able to resell the cottage for the duration of your stay.

Payments can be made via this website or via  BACS, details available on request.

Smoking

All our properties are non smoking and we request that this is adhered too.

Dog Policy:   

Three Dogs are welcome in the Holiday Let and into the garden

However, there are a few hound rules to observe:

  • I promise not to venture into the Bedrooms.
  • My owners will clean up after me as other guests wouldn’t want to find any surprises in the garden and surround parking area. There are no poo fairies!
  • My owners will ensure I do not climb/sit/sleep on the beds/sofas/chairs.
  • I promise not to foul or cause any damage to the room otherwise my owners will have to pay for damages.
  • I will not bark if left unattended or my owner will put me in the car.
  • I promise after a muddy walk I will be cleaned off.
  • I confirm my flea and worm treatment is up to date.
